Neon Genesis Evangelion is set in the year 2015,
15 years after a cataclysmic explosion in Antarctica that caused the ice cap to melt, killing a large portion of the Earth's population. A massive meteor impact has massacred
half of the human race. Now, what is left of mankind hides cowering in subterranean cities. A deadly war is being raged for what is left of planet earth. Although it was
reported as a meteor impact, the explosion was caused by human interaction with Adam, the first of a series of powerful, sentient creatures known as "Angels" to appear on Earth.
These mysterious beings known as the Angles are continuously attack the earth. Mankind's last hope
falls on the shoulders of a group of young warriors and an agency known as NERV (a secret agency dedicated to destroying the Angels with their gargantuan robot suits called Evas).
These courageous youngsters pilot the Evas which are giant bio-mechanical humanoids mecha. The "Evas" are the only thing that can withstand the force and the power of the Angles.
The best pilot is the repressed 14-year-old Shinji Ikari, who is a more interesting, believable character than standard mecha pilots. The young warriors and their Evas must
savagely battle the Angles in deadly hand to hand combat. Meanwhile, NERV struggles desperately to uncover the mystery surrounding the Angles and their conquest for earth. With
all that is left of the human race, the young pilots must find it within themselves the courage and the strength necessary to battle the ferocious Angles. Mankind's last
battle has begun.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of my most favorite Japanese Animation series!! Each episode is packed full of TONS of action, and the animation in all of
the videos is totally amazing!! Each episode is AWESOME and each one is going to leave you wanting MORE!! The storyline
gets better and better as the series goes on!! A definite MUST see!!
