The world of Prestel, where the polluted atmosphere
of the industrial revolution still lingers; where, underneath the wind and clouds, two countries, Anatorel and Dysis, confront one another in war. For years the two kingdoms
have been at war, following traditions of chivalry while being overseen by a mysterious force called the Guild.
In a small corner of Prestel there lives two you orphaned childern. A 15 year old boy named Claus Valca and his 15 year old childhood friend Lavia Head who
together, using the van-ship (a small airship) left behind by his father, make their home soaring through the sky. Together the two life-long friends work as sky couriers to make
ends meet and to maintain their van-ship in a very little town in Norkia.
Their dream is to surpass their fathers, to do what they couldn't and fly through the deadly eternal storm known as the "Grand Stream". However, one day,
a mysterious young girl, Alvis Hamilton, is entrusted to them by a wounded vanship pilot. With his dying breath, the pilot passes on his mission to Claus and Lavia, to deliver
Alvis as cargo to Alex Rou, captain of the legendary flying battleship Silvana. They quickly become entangled in an aerial adventure between the two countries gripped
in an eternal war of magnificent air battleships, noble generals, and a mysterious war-mediating Guild. Before they know it Claus and Lavie find themselves being dragged into
a battle that will decide the fate of their world.

This series is an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE anime series!! I spent many a night just telling myself......OK.......just one more episode
and I am going to bed.......The story really sucks you in and keeps you wanting more. You really are drawn to the characters as they progress through the story. The animation
quality is spectacular. This is one of the best anime series I have ever seen to date and I recommend everyone see this.
