Ninja Scroll
takes place in feudal Japan. Jyubei, a wandering samurai, journeys across the land in search of a worthy cause. He must continuously use both his keen mind and the
masterful skill of his sword in order to overcome the perils of his journeys.
The story begins when Jyubei is
inadvertently thrust into a web a treachery. A group of Koga Ninja are sent to investigate a mysterious plague that is sweeping a small area on the countryside of Japan.
Something goes terribly wrong. Jyubei saves the last surviving Koga Ninja, a beautiful but deadly woman named Kagero. Kagero hides a deadly secret of her own. In the
process of saving Kagero, Jyubei accidentally involves himself in helping the ninja and a government agent named Dakuwan. Jyubei must now survive the wrath of the Devils
of Kimon while trying to uncover and foil a treacherous plot to overthrow the Japanese government.
Ninja Scroll is my favorite Japanese Animation movie! The animation is amazing and the story line is the best ever! I
recommend this Japanese Animation to everyone, so if you have not seen Ninja Scroll yet go out and buy it or rent today!!! You will not be disappointed! It is destined to
be a classic! The characters are all done well. No hero or heroine is flawless, and yet each has his or her own inner demons to wrestle with. This certainly makes for
some good drama in the story. The plot is better than most animes; although it does use the tried-and-true "kill x legendary demons" in places, it's done so it's not the
main focus of the film, but just part of the film's events. This anime is, however, NOT an anime for kids. Ninja Scroll is quite graphic and has quite a bit of violence
in it.

In feudal Japan, the Edo period brought a time of delicate peace bought with blood. This is a chronicle of the life of Jubei Kibagami as he wanders the
countryside as a ninja for hire. At this time, ninja clans are everywhere. One clan, known as the Hiruko Clan, doomed to live and die in darkness, protects a sacred treasure
called the Dragon Stone. The Kimon Clan, however, bent on reviving the power of the Toyotomi, wants the Dragon Stone and the treasure it hides. Jubei Kibagami is the best
